Terms of Use

592 Wave is a Guyanese music platform. Artists upload their music. Anyone can listen for free. Radio stations we have approved can download tracks and play them on air.

The point of it is simple: an upcoming artist should not have to chase down DJs and radio hosts one by one to get heard. Put the music here, and the stations come looking.

592 Wave is operated from Guyana. Getting in touch: itallivitysupport@gmail.com.

You need an account to upload music, follow artists, list an event, claim a ticket, or report something. Listening does not need one.

• Give a real email address. It is how we reach you and how you get back in if you forget your password.
• Your password is yours. Do not share it. If you think someone else has it, change it.
• One person, one account. Do not make accounts pretending to be someone else.
• You must be old enough to enter a contract under Guyanese law. If you are under that age, a parent or guardian has to hold the account.

We can close an account that is being used to break these terms. If we do, we will tell you why.

Anyone can register as an artist. Two rules about the name you perform under:

• Use a name you have a right to. Not another artist's name, or a name close enough to be mistaken for theirs.
• The name on the account is the name on the music. Stations pick tracks based on it, so it has to be true.

If someone tells us you are using their name, we will ask you about it before we do anything.

Prices are set in Guyanese dollars and shown to you before you upload.

• You upload. The price is recorded against your upload at that moment — if we change our prices later, yours does not change.
• Your upload stays private. Nobody can hear it yet.
• You pay 592 Wave directly — Mobile Money Guyana, bank transfer, or cash.
• Once we have received it, we mark it paid, and that is what makes it public.

592 Wave does not take your money through the app. There is no card form, no payment page, and we never see or store a card or account number. Money moves between you and 592 Wave directly, the same way it would if you handed it over in person.

Fees are for putting the music up. They are not refundable once your track is live, because at that point the thing you paid for has happened. If something goes wrong before then — a bad file, a mistake, a track that never went live — tell us and we will sort it out.

You keep every right you have in your music. Uploading it does not sign anything over to 592 Wave. We do not own your songs, we do not take a cut of your royalties, and we do not claim a share of anything you earn anywhere else.

What you do give us is permission to run the platform. By uploading, you allow 592 Wave to:

• store your files and show your track, artwork and artist name on the site and app;
• stream your music to listeners, free of charge to them;
• let radio stations we have approved download it and broadcast it;
• use your track title, artist name and cover art to promote 592 Wave itself.

That permission lasts while your track is up. Take the track down and it ends, except that we cannot unring a bell — a station that already downloaded and broadcast your song did so legitimately.

What you are promising us in return: that the music is yours to upload. That means you wrote it or own it, you cleared any samples in it, and anyone who features on it agreed to this. If you upload someone else's work and they come after us, that is on you, not on 592 Wave.

No AI-generated music. No AI-generated cover art. This is not negotiable — 592 Wave exists for Guyanese artists, and a platform full of machine output is worth nothing to them.

When you upload, you declare the work is your own. We do not run a detector over it; the tools that claim to spot AI are wrong often enough to accuse a real artist of faking their own song, and that is a worse outcome than missing one. So instead: anyone can report a track, and a person listens and looks before anything comes down. If we take your track down and you think we got it wrong, tell us — we will listen again.

• music you do not have the rights to;
• anything that threatens, harasses, or incites violence against a person or group;
• sexual content involving anyone under 18, in the music or the artwork — this is reported, not just removed;
• anything illegal under Guyanese law.

Cursing is allowed. Mark the track explicit when you upload it. If you have a clean version, upload it too — stations mostly need the clean cut, and having one ready is often the difference between getting played and not.

Listening is free and always will be. You do not need an account.

Downloads are for approved radio stations only. Not for listeners. A station applies, we check they are a real station, and only then can they download.

If you are a station: what you download is for broadcasting on your station. Do not pass files on, do not sell them, do not put them out as your own. When you play a Guyanese artist's track, say their name — that is the whole point of this.

We keep a record of which station downloaded which track and when. Artists see their download count today, and we are building out the detail — which station, which week.

Stations can connect their live stream to 592 Wave so listeners can tune in here.

We only carry a stream when the station has given us permission in writing. The station stays responsible for everything in its own broadcast — its music licensing, its adverts, its presenters. 592 Wave points listeners at the stream; we do not rebroadcast it, re-encode it, or record it.

Either side can end this at any time, for any reason, by saying so.

Anyone with an account can list an event. You do not have to be an artist or a station.

• You may be charged a flat listing fee. It is shown before you publish, recorded against your listing, and paid to 592 Wave directly — same as upload fees, and again, no money moves through the app.
• The listing goes live once the fee is confirmed. If the fee is set to zero, listing is free.
• 592 Wave does not sell tickets and does not handle ticket money. A person claims a ticket here; they pay you however you have arranged it; you mark it paid. The ticket code is just proof of the claim.

The event is yours. You are responsible for it — for it actually happening, for the venue, for permits, for security, for refunds if you cancel. Someone with a complaint about your event has it with you, not with 592 Wave. Do not list an event that is not real.

Every account gets Social, whether you are a listener, an artist or a station. You can post, add a status that disappears after a day, run a poll, reply to people, and message them directly.

The same as your music. Posting gives 592 Wave permission to show it on the site, and nothing else. We do not sell it, license it, or train anything on it.

Everything in section 6 applies to what you post as much as what you upload: nothing you do not have the rights to, nothing that threatens or harasses a person or a group, nothing sexual involving anyone under 18, nothing illegal under Guyanese law. Cursing is allowed here too.

A direct message is private between the two of you and is shown to nobody else. It is not encrypted end to end, and the honest version of that is: 592 Wave could read it. We do not, and we do not scan messages or use them for anything — but telling you it was technically impossible would be a lie, so we are not going to.

So do not send anything through a message that you would not want a stranger with database access to see. That includes passwords and payment details. Nobody at 592 Wave will ever message you asking for either. If somebody does, they are not us — report them.

Block someone and it cuts both ways: neither of you sees the other's posts, and neither of you can message the other. You do not need our permission, you do not have to explain it, and the person is not told.

A person reads a reported post before anything happens to it. Taking a post down hides it from the feed — it does not close the account behind it. Doing it again and again will.

If you see AI content, stolen music, someone using your name, or anything else wrong, report it — from the track's page for music, from the menu on the post for anything in Social. Tell us what is wrong in your own words — that is more useful than the category you pick.

A person reviews every report. Nothing is decided automatically.

592 Wave is new and small, and we would rather say that than pretend otherwise.

• It might go down. It might be slow. Features might change.
• We back things up, but keep your own copy of your masters. Always keep your own copy of your masters.
• We cannot promise a station will play your song. What we promise is that they can find it, which is more than you had before.
• Nothing here is legal, financial, or business advice.

To the extent Guyanese law allows it, 592 Wave is not liable for money you do not make, opportunities you miss, or files you lose. If we ever are liable for something, it is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it happened.

You can stop using 592 Wave whenever you like. You can delete your account yourself from Artist Studio, and it takes your profile and your uploads with it.

We can suspend or remove an account that breaks these terms — repeat copyright problems, AI uploads, fake events, abuse of other people. We tell you why. Fees already paid on content we remove for breaking the rules are not refunded.

We will update these terms as 592 Wave grows. When something meaningful changes, we will say so on the site rather than quietly swapping the page. Carrying on using 592 Wave after a change means you accept it.

These terms are governed by the laws of Guyana, and the courts of Guyana handle any dispute.
